Make & Print is a free browser-based design tool. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the site and how it's handled.

1. Your Designs Stay on Your Device

There are no user accounts. Everything you create — projects, pages, text, images, and every other design choice — is stored only in your own browser's local storage, encrypted before it's saved. We never receive, see, or store your project data on any server, and we have no way to access it.

Clearing your browser data, or opening the site in a different browser or device, will remove or reset any saved projects. Nothing you design is backed up by us — that's a deliberate tradeoff for keeping your work private and off our servers.

2. No Accounts

This site does not require or offer user accounts, and we don't run any third-party analytics or cross-site tracking scripts.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser local storage for two things: saving your projects (described above) and remembering that you've dismissed the cookie/ads notice banner. We do not use cookies for tracking, and the ads described below do not use tracking cookies either.

By continuing to use the site, you consent to this use of local storage and to the advertising described below.

4. Advertising

This site displays ads served by our own ad network, a separate service we operate (not a third-party ad broker like Google AdSense). Ads are loaded in a sandboxed embedded frame from that service's domain and are chosen based on the page/ad zone being shown, not on tracking you across other sites or building an advertising profile of you.

To measure ad performance and filter out bot traffic, that service logs basic, non-identifying technical data for each ad view or click — a one-way hash of your IP address and browser combined with a salt that rotates daily (so it can't be used to re-identify you or track you across days), along with which ad/zone was shown and when. This data is not linked to your saved projects, which never leave your own browser.

5. Server Requests

Using the site also involves ordinary requests to our own server — loading pages, and the editor fetching font and clipart files needed to design and export your project. Like any web server, ours may log basic technical information about these requests (such as IP address, browser type, and the page or file requested) for security and troubleshooting purposes. These logs are not used to identify individuals or to track your activity across visits.

6. Exported Files

When you print or download a PDF, it's generated entirely in your browser and saved directly to your own device — it is never uploaded to or processed by our server.

7. Children's Privacy

Make & Print is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
